MUSIK LOK
Unfortunately 90ies stuff, but too great to ignore. The little train has a small 8 note keyboard on the bottom. As it drives along the track, the coloured switches push the keys, so you get your own programmed melody. In other words, this is an analog step sequencer for 3-year old children. No surprise, that this toy failed like many other musical toys. Too complicated for our youngsters.

MUSON SYNTHESIZER
Incredible Machine. Far ahead of its time - a mini sequencer with endless possibilites. Kind of a ROLAND TB-303 but much cooler & cheaper - still cheaper... The coloured buttons can be used to change the melody and rhythm. Each color has a different tune. You can also change the speed and pitch of the sequence with 2 sliders. This was also released by Palitoy in the UK.

PEO-800 MIMI ORGAN
Uuuh, what a wonderful DUBREQ Stylophone clone. And it sounds warmer and better than the original. I am sure the reason for that is the much bigger loudspeaker. I also love the beautiful box art - a very cool fake of the Stylophone box-illustration. And please notice: it's not a Mini Organ. It's a MIMI ORGAN!!!

PINK LADY was a famous japanese Trash-Pop-Group and they released tons of merchandising. Fantastic box art. This could be a start of a new collection: Pink Lady Stuff. Thanks to Hiromichi.

PLAY 'N PLAYBACK
A lovely and well-shaped organ with keys made for elephant fingers. I like the transparent protection plastic. Unfortunately it sounds like many other 70ies toy organs... beeeeep. Special thanks to Scott from USA!

Definetively one of the better Bontempi-Stuff. Cool cheap rhythms and some few nice sounds... better than nothing! I also like the design with that technological attitude.

PORTASOUND VSS-30
Smallest keyboard of the VSS series. A very hot toy sampler with resample function - so you have millions of possibilities. In combination with the CS01 analog synth, you have a very unique YAMAHA sound-station, thousand times better than any modern synths.

Second best machine from the PT-series. A cool silver sequel to the very similar white PT-30. Warm and great rhythm sounds and some great rhythm/chord pattern too. Plays ROM Cards - and CASIO made many of them with stored arrangements.

PT-7
Incredibly great. Just watch the design. I don't know what's the idea behind, but it looks so sophisticated. Maybe the CASIO engineers were on acid? The keys are a bit hard to play but they offer you 8-note polyphony. The rhythm section is superb - warm and deep sounds. Oooh I love it.

SHAUN CASSIDY ELECTRONIC ORGAN
This was made before the successful MATTEL Bee Gees Rhythm Machine. Unfortunately this is pure trash. Plastic and sound are so cheap, you cannot imagine. Anyway, I love this thing because of its great design and laughing Shaun Cassidy on the box. Also released as KAPTAIN KOOL ELECTRONIC ORGAN and A-ONE ELECTRON P.1 in Japan.

SKETCH-A-TUNE
Useless musical toy that generates sounds with a pencil on a pre-drawn field. You cannot generate "real" musical tunes - it only creates microtonal buzzes. I don't want to see the sad children in the 70ies, who tried to play children songs and failed. It is really an impossible mission.

SOUND FX MACHINE
Wow!!! Another toy that is definitively not a toy. This machine is made of cheap plastic and cardboard! It produces unbelievably noise sounds. You cannot play melodies, but you can create sounds varying from hysteric aliens, exploding space guns and flying trains. How many children in the world would have recognized all the possibilities... and how many parents would have stand the results?
